About Women Self-defense
This class was developed specifically for women to learn to protect themselves
against attacks. The class begins with nearly 15 minutes of yoga, followed by
kickboxing basics. Next, women learn the strikes of kung-fu and the ground
fighting skills of Gracie jiu-jitsu in order to develop the skills necessary to
defend themselves against larger opponents. Every two minutes, someone in the United
